HOW TO LOG ON / OFF

FIRST...

Our service is a pure mobile solution. You will therefore need your mobile phone to  log ON/OFF and to utilize our alert service. With your mobile phone at hand, follow these simple instructions and start knowing what others don’t know.

HOW TO LOG ON *

Go to the Message menu on your mobile phone and select New Message
Write: ALERT [YOUR AREA/HIGHWAY]
Send text message to: 55155

An example for Montreal:
Write: ALERT MONTREAL
Send it to: 55155

An example for highway 401:
Write: ALERT 401
Send it to: 55155

Should you be interested in other areas, exchange MONTREAL or 401 with your  desired area.

HOW TO LOG OFF AN AREA *

Go to the Message menu on your mobile phone and select New Message
Write: ALERT STOP [YOUR AREA/HIGHWAY]
Send text message to: 55155

HOW TO LOG OFF ALL AREAS YOU ARE SUBSCRIBING TO *

Go to the Message menu on your mobile phone and select New Message
Write: STOP
Send text message to: 55155

AND...

You will be charged 50 cents per received alert. Each alert will be visible on your monthly statement from your operator (Fido, Rogers Wireless, Bell Mobility or Telus Mobility).
